Halloween Day Celebrations at Waves Institute of Fashion Designing
On 31st of October, Halloween celebration is observed in many countries. The tradition was originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. It was believed that on that day, the souls of the dead returned to their homes, so people dressed in costumes and lit bonfires to ward off spirits. Activities like trick-or-treat, conduction Halloween costume parties, carving Pumpkins and lighting bonfires are most popular during this day. Here at WIFD, Fashion Designing students celebrate this day, organizing events like Face Art, Dance, Music and few other interesting games.
