Does studying in Kozhikode limit my career options, and can I study further after the course?
Not at all. WIFD graduates work across South India, Mumbai, and beyond. After the Advanced Diploma, you can also pursue a 4-year Degree in Fashion Designing or postgraduate programmes at institutes across India or abroad.
What makes WIFD stand out from other fashion design institutes in Kozhikode?

What is day-to-day life like at WIFD - batch sizes, facilities and events?
Batches are capped with limited number of students for personal attention. There is no uniform. Throughout the year, students take part in Mannequin Draping sessions, Industrial Visits, Fashion Seminars, Onam and Christmas celebrations, Women's Day events, and more. A student progress app tracks attendance, assignments, and project milestones for both students and parents.
Is an online fashion design course a good alternative to attending in person?
Not really. Theory can be covered online, but the core skills - garment construction, pattern making, draping, and machine work - need hands-on practice with real tools and direct instructor feedback. For a job-ready foundation, an in-person course is always the better choice.
