Faculty - Fashion Designing

This is a role for someone who has lived and breathed fashion - and now wants to pass on that knowledge to the next generation of designers. You will teach, inspire and guide students through one of the most creatively demanding and rewarding disciplines there is. If you have the skill, the patience and the passion to nurture talent, this role is made for you.

What You Will Do
Deliver engaging, practical-first Fashion Designing lessons covering core subjects such as illustration, garment construction, pattern drafting, surface ornamentation and textile science.
Guide students through hands-on practicals - including individual sewing machine sessions, mannequin draping and design projects.
Evaluate student progress regularly and provide personalised feedback that helps each learner improve at their own pace.
Contribute ideas to curriculum development and help keep course content current with industry trends.
Participate in institute events such as fashion shows, industrial visits and student exhibitions.
What We're Looking For
Experience or training in Fashion Designing, Textile Design, Garment Technology or a related field.
Comfortable communicating in both English and Malayalam - our students and classes use both languages.
A genuine passion for teaching and for seeing students succeed; patience and a nurturing approach are highly valued.
Graduation preferred, though not mandatory - strong practical expertise and industry experience are equally respected.

Course Counsellor

You will be the first real voice of Waves Institute that prospective students and parents interact with. This role is all about building trust, asking the right questions and matching the right student to the right course - while building lasting relationships along the way.

What You Will Do
Handle student and parent enquiries via phone, WhatsApp and in-person visits - warmly, clearly and professionally.
Understand each prospect's background, interests and goals to guide them toward the right course option at WIFD.
Follow up on leads proactively and maintain strong relationships from first enquiry to enrolment.
Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every new student.
What We're Looking For
Female graduate with excellent communication skills in both English and Malayalam.
Smart, dynamic and confident - someone who connects easily with people of all backgrounds.
Prior experience as an academic counsellor or in a student-facing role at any reputed institution or company is preferred.

Receptionist & Front Office Executive

You will be the face of Waves Institute - the first person every visitor, student and parent meets. This role demands warmth, professionalism and the ability to stay calm and organised in a busy, people-facing environment.

What You Will Do
Manage front-desk operations - greeting and directing visitors, handling incoming calls and maintaining a welcoming reception area.
Coordinate daily administrative tasks and ensure smooth communication between departments, faculty and students.
Handle student attendance records, basic data entry and filing responsibilities with accuracy and timeliness.
Assist in organising campus events, student inductions and other institute activities as required.
What We're Looking For
Fluent in both Malayalam and English - spoken and written.
Pleasant, confident and well-presented - someone who creates a great first impression every time.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Email, WhatsApp); prior front-desk or administrative experience is an advantage.
