The role includes customer consultation, taking accurate body measurements, sketching designs, selecting fabrics, calculating costs, researching trends, and developing collections. Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, stitching, and the ability to manage tailors, coordinate production, supervise fittings, and ensure quality and timely delivery are required.
